Asif Dhanani | MBA ‍ ‍Co Founder | Head of Local Government Strategy

Asif is a senior transformation leader, surveyor, and real estate strategist with an international career spanning government, finance, and cross-border property investment. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Land Management and Development from the University of Reading, complemented by advanced professional training in Lean Six Sigma, PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, AWS Cloud, and AI, alongside an MBA (Manchester Business School) and an MSc in Governance and Ethics (University College London).

Known for bringing clarity and strategic intent to complex organisations, Asif combines surveying expertise, analytical precision, and operational discipline, making him a trusted adviser to boards. He serves as a trustee on the board of Mind (The UK mental health charity), contributing to governance and oversight in the non-profit sector.

At Cluttons, he developed the framework for a property derivatives desk for the Wellcome Trust and led extensive asset management for Cadogan, Sloane Stanley, and Wellcome, including shaping Wellcome’s five-year strategy for their Prime Central London residential portfolio. These initiatives strengthened infrastructure, improved asset intelligence, and aligned estate strategy with evolving policy objectives.

Earlier roles reinforced his expertise: at Strutt & Parker MENA, he embedded market intelligence and investment planning across joint ventures. Whilst in banking, at Matrix Group, he worked within property funds, integrating ESG, and enhanced the funds capital performance; on the equity derivatives trading floors at Citibank and NationsBank CRT, he led control, risk, and process improvements, directly supporting high-stakes trading operations.

Today, Asif blends surveying, real estate insight, transformation leadership, and governance acumen to deliver measurable, lasting impact with precision, integrity, and strategic foresight.
